In June, we asked you to share with us the tools you are currently using to address Client Protection Principle 1, “Avoidance of Over-indebtedness.” Among the submissions received, those of five organizations stood out as exceptional. We are happy to announce that these organizations’ tools are now featured on The Smart Campaign website:

  • Microfund for Women in Jordan shared their toolkit for evaluating client businesses for their individual loan product, including the new client application. View tool »
  •  Fonkoze in Haiti shared their Guide for Credit Agents in Evaluating Clients for Fonkoze’s Post-Disaster Recovery Program, which guides staff through the challenging process of assessing the credit capacity of highly vulnerable clients. View tool »

We invite you to learn more about these and all of the Campaign tools and resources »

The Smart Campaign staff and Tools & Resources Task Force reviewed each of the submitted tools, evaluating them based on three basic criteria:

  1. Completion and quality of response
  2. Provision of materials
  3. Adaptability of material to other contexts
